Advocate Mr. Quazi Murshed Hossain Kamal, honorable President of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. General Secretary of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana presided over the Championship. Besides, other officials of the federation were also present at the event. About 300 male and female Taekwondo competitors from 10 clubs in the country participated in this competition in various categories. Mirpur DOHS Taekwondo Club was the champion and Mirpur Indoor Stadium Taekwondo Club got the runner-up trophy in that championship.

The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in the Poomsae Event in their individual age category and acquired a total of 11 (Eleven) Medals so far where 08 Pcs Gold medals, 01 Pcs Silver medal, and 02 Pcs Bronze medals as well. Competitor Nooruddin Husain gained 01 Gold Medal in the single Poomsae Event in his age category, similarly, Lubaba Binte Amjad 01 Gold Medal, Junaed Labib Al Wasi 01 Gold Medal, Asifa Anaya Khan 01 Gold Medal, S M Raiyan Adeel Raif 01 Gold Medal, Anisha Haque Meera 01 Gold Medal, Fatiha Tazrin Ahsan 01 Gold Medal, and Mahdi Murtaza Esa gained 01 Gold Medal as well. On the other hand, Syeed Earfan Sarwar gained 01 Silver Medal in his individual age category in a similar event, Farhan Andalib 01 Bronze Medal, and Junaira Kaiser also achieved 01 Bronze Medal in their similar age and event category. About 900 (Nine Hundred) Taekwondo Competitors from 10 (Ten) different countries participated in this championship. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team arrived in Bangladesh on 10 December 2023 by Airbus after completing this championship and the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team expects more winning than 2023 in 2024 and Say goodbye for the next one.

The 33 members including Team Officials, Athletes and Guardians of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in another international tournament the “11th Korean Ambassador Open International Taekwondo Championship-2023 at Kathmandu, Nepal from 13th-17th September 2023 Which was co-organized by the Embassy of Korea in Nepal and the Nepal Taekwondo Association. A total of 1778 Senior and Junior athletes from two different countries in South Asia including the host country (Nepal) participated in this championship. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team departed from Bangladesh on 12th September 2023 and arrived on 18th September 2023 in Dhaka after successfully completing this championship.

We have started in the name of Almighty Allah. First thanks to god almighty for successfully doing this championship in the fiscal year of 2023-2024. In the recent past, the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in another international championship “2023 Seongnam World Taekwondo Hanmadang” in South Korea from 21-24 July 2023 four days long. The Bangladesh Taekwondo National Team was made of 13 (Thirteen) members of athletes. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team achieved 01 (One) Silver medal and 01 (One) Bronze medal in this championship. Among the competitors, Fathiya Taiyyabah achieved 01 Silver medal in the Junior High Jump Briking in her age category and Shahamat Sayfan Ahnaf achieved 01 Bronze medal in the Junior Long Jump Briking in her age category. After completing the championship, The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team came back by the Biman Bangladesh Airlines on 24th July 2023 at 11.20 PM in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation showing their honor for the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team for their another brilliant achievement in 2023.

The 02 (two) members of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in this championship. Athlete Md. Foysal Ahmed participate in the -65kg weight category in this championship and he contested with the athlete of Croatia in a similar weight category as well as Md. Foysal Ahmed lost the game with him by (0-2) point. The Bangladesh Team doing an exciting battle against Croatia in spite of losing the game. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team arrived in Dhaka on 05th June 2023 after successfully completing this championship.

Celebrating the birthday of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the independent day of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation has arranged a colorful birthday ceremony, Dua & Milad-Mahfil, and for 02 (Two) days long, Independence Day Taekwondo Championship-2023 has been arranged at Sultana Kamal Mohila Sports Complex, Dhanmondi on 17-18 March 2023 and it’s sponsored by the federation also. The honorable secretary Kazi Murshed Hossain Kamal of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation has inaugurated the birthday ceremony, Dua & Milad-Mahfil, and the Championships at Sultana Kamal Mohila Sports Complex, Dhanmondi. Eng. Feroza Karim Neli of the General Editor (In Charge) of the Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association was present as a special appearance at this ceremony. The Honorable General Secretary Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana and the rest of the others of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation were present on this gala day. After completing those formalities, started the ultimate battle with the athletes among each other for two days long. After completing this championships battle, the honorable General Secretary and the rest of the others of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation were present at the prize-giving ceremony and the honorable General Secretary Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana do distribute the prize among the winners as well. About 120 male athletes and 80 female athletes from 10 different clubs participated in this championship. General Secretary of the Federation Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana gave a valuable speech for all and ended this championship to prescribe the upcoming champ as well.

The Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation hosts “Victory Day Taekwondo Championship-2022” in favor of Economic and ultimate support. This championship was inaugurated by the honorable secretary Mr. Quazi Murshed Hossain Kamal of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation and the honorable general secretary Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana of the Banglade h Taekwondo Federation as well. About more than 400 hundred Participants participated in this championship from 10  District Sports Associations and 10 Schools/Colleges/Universities/Clubs/Corporations with Bangladesh Army and Border Guard Bangladesh from across the country. The Bangladesh Army achieved the champion crown in their team-wise category and the Border Guard Bangladesh got the runner-up crown in their team-wise category. After successfully done another exciting gaming day, The honorable secretary Mr. Quazi Murshed Hossain Kamal of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation declare the end of this championship through the prize-giving ceremony. Also, the honorable general secretary Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana, and the other delegates of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation were present in this prize-giving session to the moral expectations for the next year than 2022. Also, Had a result oriented pre-meeting before starting this ceremony at the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation among themselves. In which they had a skillful exchange with each other. The honorable Secretary Quazi Murshed Hossein Kamal of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation, the honorable General Secretary Mahmudul Islam Rana, and the rest of the executive members of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation were present at this meeting. Contrariwise about 100 (One Hundred) delegates with the honorable Secretary and General Secretary participated in the Iftar Party and Dua Mahfil. The honorable secretary had announced and called off this ceremony to thank all the delegates after completing the all formalities. He implemented again that arranged this function every year with high efficiency than before happening. We wish we all may in a piece.
