Advocate Mr. Quazi Murshed Hossain Kamal, honorable President of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. General Secretary of Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana presided over the Championship. Besides, other officials of the federation were also present at the event. About 300 male and female Taekwondo competitors from 10 clubs in the country participated in this competition in various categories. Mirpur DOHS Taekwondo Club was the champion and Mirpur Indoor Stadium Taekwondo Club got the runner-up trophy in that championship.

The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in the Poomsae Event in their individual age category and acquired a total of 11 (Eleven) Medals so far where 08 Pcs Gold medals, 01 Pcs Silver medal, and 02 Pcs Bronze medals as well. Competitor Nooruddin Husain gained 01 Gold Medal in the single Poomsae Event in his age category, similarly, Lubaba Binte Amjad 01 Gold Medal, Junaed Labib Al Wasi 01 Gold Medal, Asifa Anaya Khan 01 Gold Medal, S M Raiyan Adeel Raif 01 Gold Medal, Anisha Haque Meera 01 Gold Medal, Fatiha Tazrin Ahsan 01 Gold Medal, and Mahdi Murtaza Esa gained 01 Gold Medal as well. On the other hand, Syeed Earfan Sarwar gained 01 Silver Medal in his individual age category in a similar event, Farhan Andalib 01 Bronze Medal, and Junaira Kaiser also achieved 01 Bronze Medal in their similar age and event category. About 900 (Nine Hundred) Taekwondo Competitors from 10 (Ten) different countries participated in this championship. The 33 members including Team Officials, Athletes and Guardians of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in another international tournament the “11th Korean Ambassador Open International Taekwondo Championship-2023 at Kathmandu, Nepal from 13th-17th September 2023 Which was co-organized by the Embassy of Korea in Nepal and the Nepal Taekwondo Association. A total of 1778 Senior and Junior athletes from two different countries in South Asia including the host country (Nepal) participated in this championship. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team departed from Bangladesh on 12th September 2023 and arrived on 18th September 2023 in Dhaka after successfully completing this championship.

We have started in the name of Almighty Allah. First thanks to god almighty for successfully doing this championship in the fiscal year of 2023-2024. In the recent past, the Bangladesh Taekwondo Team participated in another international championship “2023 Seongnam World Taekwondo Hanmadang” in South Korea from 21-24 July 2023 four days long. The Bangladesh Taekwondo National Team was made of 13 (Thirteen) members of athletes. The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team achieved 01 (One) Silver medal and 01 (One) Bronze medal in this championship. Among the competitors, Fathiya Taiyyabah achieved 01 Silver medal in the Junior High Jump Briking in her age category and Shahamat Sayfan Ahnaf achieved 01 Bronze medal in the Junior Long Jump Briking in her age category. After completing the championship, The Bangladesh Taekwondo Team came back by the Biman Bangladesh Airlines on 24th July 2023 at 11.20 PM in Bangladesh. The honorable secretary Kazi Murshed Hossain Kamal of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation has inaugurated the birthday ceremony, Dua & Milad-Mahfil, and the Championships at Sultana Kamal Mohila Sports Complex, Dhanmondi. Eng. Feroza Karim Neli of the General Editor (In Charge) of the Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association was present as a special appearance at this ceremony. The Honorable General Secretary Mr. Mahmudul Islam Rana and the rest of the others of the Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation were present on this gala day. After completing those formalities, started the ultimate battle with the athletes among each other for two days long. The 45 Members of athletes of the Bangladesh Team took part in this championship in the individual weight (Under 9 to 40 ages) category from the Poomsae event as well.
